There have been so many wonderful and exciting things keeping us busy around here! Let’s see… where to begin…
We are happy to be participating in Bike Craft’s online storefront. They are still in the process of ironing out the details of their soft launch and plan to go in to full launch early May. Stay tuned for an update on that!
The PDX bicycle show was a blast. We met some really awesome people making some really awesome things for bikers, our of bike parts, and the like. We got to hang with Julien the Rebicyclist as well as our new buddies from the Lumberyard. The Lumberyard is opening this spring and is seriously awesome. We definitely suggest checking it out when you can!
We are happy to be part of Crafty Wonderland’s Super Colossal Spring sale happening at the Convention Center on May 12th. Come check us out, we’ll be unveiling a new product line and would love for you to be the first to see it!
We started working on a collaborative effort with Joemil Santos of Three Eyes Studios as well, so be on the lookout for a new shop and new product line launching this spring.
We are getting our summer festival line-up in order but plan to be hitting quite a few of them locally. Look for us at the Mississippi Street Fair, STP Finish Line, Alberta Street Fair, and Hawthorne Street Fair to name a few. First Thursday is on the list as well. We are definitely looking forward to some warmer weather and to seeing your face!
We are pretty stoked on participating in the PDX Bike show this year. The basics are: March 24th and 25th at the Portland Expo center 10-6 on Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday. Lots of cool stuff to see and buy. For more details: visit the Pedal Nation Website.
Rhythmic Metal is stoked to be selling our handmade belt buckles at Redux on 8th and Burnside (east side). Tamara is super friendly and super rad and hand-picked and awesome assortment of some of our coolest buckles to sell in her store. Stop in, say hi, and pick up a buckle for you and a friend. Stay tuned… Rhythmic Metal is on the prowl and will be integrating in to more Portland area stores in the near future.
It’s been a little while since our last post…
Our first holiday season as a business treated us well. We enjoyed the craft shows we participated in and are looking forward to what this year will bring. On January 11th, we welcomed our baby girl Elliot Winnifred Stocking Into the 
world! She was 10Lbs at birth! We couldn’t be happier! We could be more rested… In due time I suppose!
A new year, a new life, and new products coming your way.Trent is hard at work designing and refining and is hoping to bring more than belt buckles as the year unfolds. Be on the look out for wall pieces, sculpture, lamps, candle holders, and, of course, more belt buckles. We’re working on more designs for our classic recycled bike chain buckles as well as new images for all of our handcrafted steel buckles. Keep checking back, visit Etsy often, and let us know if there is something you want to see from us.

We have been super busy with holiday orders, craft shows, Saturday/Sunday Market, and keeping up with daily life- that’s what.
A couple things to check out:
1- Our Super Sale Section in the Etsy store. There are some super rad buckles marked down. They are all made, all one-of-a-kind, and all ready to ship upon ordering so you can still get any of them in time for the holidays!
2- You still have time for all holiday orders! Order by Tuesday December 20th with regular shipping and we guarantee arrival by the 24th for all orders staying in the US.
3- Need something faster? Waited until the very last minute, we are happy to expedite shipping, get a hold of us and let us know.
As we roll in to the New Year, stay tuned for new products and designs. We have some great ideas on the horizon. Don’t worry, all of our current made to order buckles are now permanent fixtures in our store, so you’ll still be able to get them. Be safe out there an have an awesome holiday season!
Bike Craft was awesome this past weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a success. The crowd was great and it was fun to meet the other vendors and see what they are up to. Coffee from Ristretto Roasters was a special treat and definitely kept us going throughout the day. Next up, Crafty Wonderland this coming weekend- December 10th and 11th.
If you didn’t make it out last weekend, or even if you did, be sure to stop by Crafty Wonderland this weekend. Over 250 local crafters and vendors make up this event so it’s sure to be a good time. There will be lots of yummy food, gift bags for the first 150 guests each day, lots of people watching, and lots of holiday shopping to be done.
What can you expect from Rhythmic Metal? We’ll be bringing all of our classics as well as some new designs we’ve been working on. Classic bike chain buckles, cool recycled bike cog and spoke buckles, some of our classic image buckles, and some new images as well. The Rebicyclist will also be there with his cool recycled bike tire belts, so you can get you belt and buckle all in one place.

Next up, the following weekend is Crafty Wonderland- Portland’s annual super colossal holiday sale held at the Convention Center. This is going to be a great event with over 250 vendors! it’s sure to have many locally made, handcrafted, amazing gift options. We’ll be bringing our entire stock of buckles to this event, including our recycled bike products.
